Multiple choice questions based on basic Mathematics, General Knowledge. Each question will be of one marks and there will be negative marking of 25 marks for every wrong answer
For Undergraduate Programme
Eligibility Criteria:-Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent scoring at least 45 % marks in the exams. Students appearing for qualifying exams same year are also eligible. Syllabus:-CLAT exam consists of 5 sections namely: General Knowledge ,English, (including Current Affairs), Legal aptitude and logical reasoning. Mathematics,.
English:- It contains comprehension which consists 1 mark of 40 questions each. Candidates are advised to prepare basic grammar topics such as: antonyms and , idioms synonyms, idioms and phrases, vocabulary words and also should prepare foreign words and phrases. General Knowledge:- This section consists of 1 mark 50 questions each and questions are mostly related to current affairs,(recent national and international events) books, authors and history. Elementary Mathematics:- This section consists of 20 questions of one mark each and the questions are of basic numerical level.
Logical Reasoning:- 40 questions of 1 mark each have been allotted to this section
Legal Aptitude:- This section consists of 50 questions or 1 mark each.
For Postgraduate Programe
Eligibility Criteria:- Candidate should have passed LL.B. with 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent degree examination. 5% relaxation is given to students belonging to SC/ST category. Students in their Final year are also eligible for the exam.

Syllabus:- CLAT Exam consists of 3 parts namely,Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law and other Law Subjects..The question paper will consist of 150 multiple choice questions. Each correct answer will be awarded with one mark. The candidate must note that for every objective type question (0.25 marks) to every wrong answer will be deducted. All of which consists of 50 questions of 1 mark each

ILICAT 2016-:( ILICAT )Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test widely known as 2016 is a National level exam. The Institute is conducted by Indian Law Institute, New Delhi which was declared as a deemed university in 2004 by UGC. Interested candidates can fill the application form in May,2016.This exam is conducted for the admission of aspirants in 2 year L.L.M programme, Ph.D in Law, and Diploma programms. Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of marks scored in ILICAT exam after which they will be called for an interview.
